TANATEX:
The active ingredient that makes TANATEX-infused garments resistant to insects (ticks, mosquitoes of all kinds, flatworms, mites and various flying and intrusive insects) is a synthetic pyrethroid, working on a similar basis to substances found in flowers such as chrysanthemums. It is permethrin, the use of which is also recommended by the WHO as an effective insect pesticide as it is toxic to insects.
