The TETRAO decoy is an innovative decoy with adjustable tone of the proven sound of rutting deer, ideal for decoying deer during the rut. The decoy has the possibility of adjusting the pitch of the tones. The red deer decoy is versatile and can perfectly imitate the voice of a red deer or the communication of a male deer or fallow deer. The sound of a rutting buck is so very effective that it can attract even exhausted bucks in rut, or even when a buck has his herd of does. The TETRAO decoy consists of three removable parts - the mouthpiece, the handle with reed and the resonance tube - and offers convenience and ease of use. Adjusting the tone is easy: slide the rubber ring onto the selected groove of the mouthpiece and change the pitch of the tone. Tune the lure to the voice of the rutting deer by sliding the rubber strip about 5 mm from the thickest end of the lure. Place your lips on the rubber ring and blow gently and briefly into the decoy, creating the sound EHHH-EHHH-EHHH. Use your other hand to modulate the sound or intensity using what is called a sound funnel.
