The filter uses hollow microfibres, the walls of which form a membrane with a maximum pore size of 0.1 micron. It traps both microplastics and bacteria such as Salmonella, Cholera but also E. coli. The total weight of the filter is 37 grams. With the ability to roll up into a small package, it takes up almost no space in your backpack.
