It protects against the penetration of moisture from outside during more demanding and prolonged moves in inclement weather. The lightweight ripstop membrane with a hydrophobic surface will withstand a water column of 5000 mm and provide a breathable comfort of up to 5000 g /m2 /24h.
The small practical pack weighing 330 g (L) will not take up much space and once unpacked will find its use especially on longer treks in areas with higher rainfall. Wearing comfort is enhanced by a large, adjustable hood with shirt, elasticated cuffs on the sleeves and practical slits at the sides for increased range of movement. It has a specially shaped back section that will comfortably cover even a larger backpack if needed, and wetness caused by rubbing of the shoulder straps will become a thing of the past.
