Developed over thousands of years, paved by the tremendous power of water. Even in ancient Egypt, alluvial soils were considered an auspicious blessing for a bountiful harvest. The removal of sediment created extremely nutritious young soil along the shores of rivers or lakes, which Justin Lundquist describes as the source of his idea for the impressive Boker Plus Aluvial All Black. The nature-loving knife designer from the USA has been fascinated by knives since the age of four and has been successfully realising his own designs since 2013. Awash with inspiration in this first collaborative project with Boker, he overturned the laws of nature and brought new life to the world of automatic knives
The blade, made of D2 tool steel, opens and unlocks with a button on the left side of the knife. It is held in the open position by a Button lock. The aluminium handle is smooth in the front and has a soft texture in the back for a better grip. The knife is equipped with a clip for carrying in your pocket.
